CRPF Recruitment 2022-23 Exam Pattern
The examination will consist of five types that are:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)

Computer-based test of CRPF Recruitment 2022-23
This examination will consist of one paper with 100 objective types of questions to be attempted in 90 minutes.

Only those candidates who pass the CBT will be invited to the next stage of recruitment, namely the Skill1 Test/PST/DV/DME, which will be held at various CRPF locations.

Physical Standard Test (PST) of CRPF Recruitment 2022-23
The Measurement of height for female candidates and measurement of height and chest for male candidates must include in the ASI Steno Physical Standards Test and CRPF Recruitment of Head Constable (Ministerial) test.
Document Verification of CRPF Recruitment 2022-23
Candidates for Document Verification will be chosen from a pool of candidates who have passed the Skill Test, physical-based test, and computer-based test.
Candidates are advised to bring original documents as well as self-attested photocopies of the same with them when reporting to the Recruitment Centre. Documents listed below will be physically verified during document verification.
When appearing for the Document Verification, candidates must bring two passport-size recent color photographs and one original valid Photo ID proof. Photo ID proof can include:
- Aadhaar Card/Printout of E-Aadhaar,
- Voter’s ID Card,
- PAN Card,
- Driving License,
- Government College/ School ID Card,
- Employer ID (Govt./PSU),
- Any other photo-bearing ID Card issued by the Central/State Government
The candidate must submit copies of the following documents:
- Matriculation/Secondary Certificate.
- Certificate of Intermediate/ 10+2.
- Order/letter in respect of equivalent Education Qualifications claimed, indicating the Authority (with number and date) under which it has been so treated, in respect of the equivalent clause in Essential Qualifications, if a candidate claims a specific qualification as an equivalent qualification.
- Caste/Category Certificate, if the candidate belongs to a reserved category, in the format prescribed in Annexures IV, V, and VI of the Notice from the candidates seeking reservation/age relaxation.
- Certificate from the District Collector/District Magistrate in respect of dependent applicants of riot victims as specified in category serial No.5,6, and 7 of the examination notice under para 7.2.
Medical Examination detail of CRPF Recruitment 2022-23
Shortlisted candidates will be medically examined by the CRPF’s Medical Officer/Medical Board to determine their physical and medical fitness. The medical examination of the candidates will be conducted in terms of Uniform Guidelines for recruitment, medical examination for GOs and NGOs in CAPFs and AR issued vide MHA UO No. A.VL 1/ 2014-Rectt(SSB)dated 2O/O5/2O15 and OM No. E.32Or2/ADG(Med)/DME/RME/DA-t/2o2o (Part file) / 7166 dated 37/05/2021 and as amended from time to time by the Government of India.
In case of medical examination, “Temporary unfitness” will not be allowed. However, a woman candidate, who as a result of the test is found to be pregnant, irrespective of the duration of pregnancy, may be declared temporarily unfit and her appointment held in abeyance until the confinement is over. The vacancy against which a woman candidate was selected will be kept resewed for her. She should be re-examined for a Detailed Medical Examination six weeks after the date of confinement, subject to the production of the medical certificate of fitness from a registered medical practitioner. If she is found fit she may be appointed to the post kept reserved for and allow the benefit of seniority in accordance with the instructions of the government, as amended from time to time.
Candidates declared unfit during the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) will be allowed to take the Review Medical Examination (RME) if they provide written consent by signing the intimation indicating the reasons for their unfitness, as per ANNEXURE-VIII. RME for candidates will take place as part of the DME, preferably on the next day of the DME. The candidate’s signed consent for RME as per Annexure-(VIII) should be submitted within 24 hours of being informed of his/her unfitness in DME. GOI/MHA OM F.No.-E. 32o12/ADG(MED)/DME & RM,EIDA-rl2o2o-(Part file)/ 1 166 dated 3 1/O5 / 2O2l will be strictly followed. The decision of the Re-Medical Board/Review Medical Board is final, and no appeal/representation against the decision of the Re-Medical Board/Review Medical Board will be accepted.
The Review Medical Board shall examine the candidate specifically for the deficiency for which the candidate was determined unfit during DME in accordance with the instructions.
If the candidate passes the RME, his name will be added to the data/list of medically fit candidates used to prepare the iina-1 merit List/result.
Eye Sight: Without correction, i.e. without glasses or lenses, the minimum distant vision should be 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in the other.
Candidates must not have a knock knee, flat foot, a squint in their eyes, or varicose veins, and they must have good color vision.
They must be in good mental and physical health, with no physical defects that would interfere with the efficient performance of their duties.
